Toronto is an amazing city to explore especially on a beautiful, sunny day. Walk through The Distillery and enjoy the artwork then take a bike ride through the city past the sports stadiums, next to the lake, and through the crowds of people enjoying the city with you. At least that is what we ended up doing on our visit.
We started our Toronto day at The Distillery. It is a quant village within the city that is lined by brick streets and Victorian industrial buildings. It's home to many galleries, fashion stores, jewelry boutiques, cafes and live theatres. There is also very interesting pieces of artwork throughout the area that define the Distillery and make it unique.
When we were down exploring the memorable Distillery, we hit the city. The city itself is just as fun with the CN tower (tallest in Toronto) hovering over you in any direction. We lounged on the beach, yes in the city, and did a lot of biking to enjoy the downtown of Toronto.
Luckily we had a beautiful day because its much easier to get the whole city experience by being outside and biking around.
Hopefully we get this weather for the rest of the trip!!
