Halloween party food!

Tonight was a blast. We invited some really good friends over for a delicious evening dinner at our house. We set the table with pumpkin candles, cleaned up the house and created Halloween inspired food. Everyone enjoyed the treats and filled up plates to take home! Check out what we did:

Nightmare Before Christmas Cookies - Jack Skellington (an attempt)
We made sugar cookies, smoothed on some white frosting and then used black frosting to create the eyes, nose and mouth. A friend I invited is obsessed with this movie so, she was more then thrilled to see what we did for her!

Some oranges with faces to look like Jack-O-Lanterns. Just a cute decoration.

Snake Calzone.
We bought pizza dough and laid it out flat. Placed mozzarella and pepperoni all over it then rolled it up width wise (to make it long). We then brushed on some olive oil and green food coloring and put it in the oven at 375 for approx 30 minutes. Voila! Add some black olive eyes and pepperoni tongue and you have a creepy snake.

Mummy Pizzas.
Buy some english muffins, spread on some sauce and cheese, put black olives for eyes then throw it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 (until crisp and melted) and you have yourself some Halloween inspired mummy's.  (and they are extremely yummy!)

Mummy hot dogs. Wrap some refrigerated biscuit dough around a hot dog and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. When done add some mustard eyeballs and serve. Delicious.

Eyeball Deviled Eggs. Make some deviled eggs and add black olives for the pupils, use red food coloring for the blood shot look and serve cold and you will have yourself a cute treat!

Looks adorable, right? This grave yard is easy to make. Crush some oreos, mix up chocolate pudding and add gummy worms and Milano grave headstones. It is the perfect Halloween dessert!
