From Portland, Oregon to Boise, Idaho (a quick stop in Washington)- approximately 425 miles - through rain, wind, SNOW and sun. (Don't worry we left the snow behind us)
We saw waterfalls along the old historic highway 30 and drove in a snow storm. We went up and over many hills and mountains. Past a Gold Rush truck three times. Got gas in Oregon and then three more times after that.... Finally after 12 hours and a time change (lost an hour) we made it to our home for the night. Sick of driving yet?!? Nope!

P.S. In Oregon....they pump your gas for you at the gas stations. What service. :)
