The truly amazing Redwood Forest

05/21
The Redwood National Forest. Unreal. The trees are unbelievably humongous.
The park is the largest remaining stand of virgin redwoods in the world. The area stretches thirty one miles along highway 101, which is a gorgeous historic drive along the coast. When walking amongst the trees you feel as if you were transported back in time. This truly shows the beauty of nature. Some of the trees range from 1500-2000 years old. We took a picture with the third widest tree, got to stand next to a redwood that twisted itself all the way up to the top, and walked amongst trees bigger then most people will see. The experience will definitely be one that is not forgotten.
Time to cross into Oregon? I think so!!
Goodbye California, you were amazing.

Xoxo
