Goodbye to the Grand Canyon and Hello to Las Vegas. Let the gambling begin!
The journey only took us about four hours and the scenery on the way to Nevada was surprisingly amazing. I was thinking that desert would surround us but mountains, hills, and plenty of random rock clusters take up most of your view as you head west. One of the most picturesque views would be when you are almost at the Hoover Dam (which is on the way to Vegas) and these monstrous, colorful, mountains just take over your view 360 degrees.
Speaking of Hoover Dam, don't let the entry parking fool you, unless its crazy busy they do have free parking if you drive over the bridge and its not worth the eight bucks for the tower when you can walk for free over the dam. Just some FYI.
Anywho, Vegas bound we go for some fun in the sun and gambling.
