Loud. Bright. Busy. Fun. Entertaining.
Those are just some of the words that describe the Vegas strip.
We were informed by Ashley and Nick (who we visited near Dallas) to stay in the middle of the strip even if it costs more. It's worth it not having to deal with taxis and walking so much. So, The Flamingo was what we booked. Great choice for the price (minus the thin walls and loud music).
Viva Las Vegas.
If you are on a budget, like most of us are, there is plenty of free things on the strip to do. We saw a fabulous water show in front of the Ballagio and a hot and firey volcano show infront of the Mirage, the Flamingo has a live animal exhibit, plus much more!!
Besides gambling and food, Las Vegas can be an inexpensive place. Do the free activities and get free drinks when at a casino, relax in the sun by the pool... Maybe even bring your own food and drinks to your room. Just got to play it right (pun intended/gambling) and fun is what you will have in Viva Las Vegas.
Can't wait for some sunny beach in California soon! Time to relax :)

P.S. Put your kids to bed and call it a night. Don't cart them around at 11:00 at night for your own gambling pleasure...
