Myrtle Beach

04/10
Six dollars for all day parking and we utilized as much of those paid hours as our burnt feet could handle.
Hung out on the beach and read from our books a few pages, saw a couple of huge 'birds' fly over our heads (thirteen to be exact-picture below), watched a hat blow off a mans head, went swimming in a non-heated pool, which felt amazing, ate some delicious burgers that tasted like home, and much much more.
The boardwalk is full of bargain swimwear stores where you will get the best half off deal with them, plenty of restaurants and pubs that have sea food galore, a humongous Ferris wheel, and a sling shot that throws people hundreds of feet into the air. It's the perfect getaway for people when they want a week escape from the chilly, cool winter and want to go to an inexpensive destination where you can stay entertained all week without having to rent a car.
We do have a car and are now moving on to an adorable area in Myrtle Beach called the Market Common. We have ventured this way to see Jurassic Park in 3D!!! Mike's first time to a 3D movie and we have only heard amazing things about this theatre, plush rocking seats to be one of them, then off to the next Walmart to catch some z's.
