Downtown Ocala

04/16
We are on our way to Tampa, FL and made a stop in a town called, Ocala. We heard good things about the downtown area from our friend Trip Advisor and had to check out what it was all about. With no plan in mind we went to a couple of cute thrift stores and consignment shops, there were painted horses all over the town then we stumbled upon this old movie theatre, Marion Theatre. Luckily for us, Tuesdays are customer appreciation day and they give free popcorn and drinks with your movie ticket. So in we went to see Olympus has Fallen and we got the movie theatre all to ourselves, perfection. The movie turned out to be pretty good, the popcorn was buttered just enough and the drinks were amazing on such a hot day. It felt like it was meant to be (thank you Trip Advisor).
It was late in the afternoon by that point, so off to Tampa we went to make ourselves at home in their Walmart parking lot (technically the town of Brandon was where the Walmart was). Needless to say, it was the busiest parking lot and the hottest night we have had yet. Maybe it is time to invest in a battery operated fan? We shall see!
