The past couple of days April (our Compass) has been having some technical difficulties. She has been creaking under the front when driving slow. She is starting to show her age. Simpson's Service Center to the rescue. She only took four hours to be operated on, thankfully nothing was wrong she just makes noise. (And we got an oil change and tire rotation while we were there, already 3000 miles...crazy!)
So that took up all of our morning.
In the afternoon we went to a burger joint, George's, compliments of the gentlemen at Simpson's and the food turned out to be really good. Then we drove around Baton Rouge, saw some old buildings (the old State Capital building to be exact) and decided to call it a day. We knew we were going to a beach in Texas so we drove closer and made home at a Walmart near Lake Charles.
