We had the pleasure of spending the weekend with two amazing people, Ashley and Nick Miller! I should say three because they have a puppy, Maverick, who is absolutely adorable. They live north of Dallas in Fairview which is right next to McKenney, Texas (ranked number two best place to live). That night we had pizza from a local pizza joint (very good) and stayed at their apartment catching up on life.
Saturday we spent the day in Grapevine, Texas. Their downtown has little boutiques, wineries, art galleries and they had a farmers market going on for the weekend. The day was beautiful so we spent the morning walking around and window shopping. Then we went to D'Vine Winery for their wine tastings = delicious. By early afternoon, hunger got the best of us and of course being in Texas we had to get some steaks. They do taste better in Texas...
Sunday we went to McKinney square and had a scrumptious brunch at Spoons (highly recommended). Then took little Maverick to the dog park and lounged by the pool soaking up the sun and their place.
All in all the weekend was amazing and we can't wait for them to move back to NH so we can see them a lot more!!
