My family has been friends with a really nice couple in Maine for many years. Every year my mom and dad would go camping over at their place. Its this cute little makeshift campground where a bunch of friends & family get together in the red neck woods. ( I wish it was light out so I could have taken pictures). Even though my dad has passed my mom still goes there to celebrate a holiday with a great group of people. This year we got to experience it.
They have tables full of delicious food, fireworks (some homemade :-0), a huge trail you can take an ATV or our Jeep around, and a cozy campfire everyone gathers around to watch the burning of anything they can get their hands on - Example a pillow...
We are so glad we got to experience it this year- It was a blast.
Hopefully, we get to experience more than a couple hours there next year!
