Yesterday we took an adventure down to Rochester and Dover to scope out the stores for our new house and look at the gem we found. We have been looking for an antique trunk and this beauty is perfect. We are going to use it as a coffee table. We will add some felt to the bottom so it won't scratch up the floors and maybe put glass or something (we aren't sure yet) on top so it doesn't get ruined if wet. The best part is, when we saw this at a Salvation Army, thrice was fifty bucks...we were almost positive we were going to get it but then this lady comes up and asks if we would definitely get it for thirty - SOLD! That made this treasure even better.
Now we just have to get the house closer to move in condition.
