Memphis, Tennessee

06/04
Woke up in Conway...Arkansas after a long food incorporated night of fun and beers. Exercise felt like it was mandatory when thinking about the night before - NBA game seven. Luckily for us Little Rock, Arkansas offers a long River Walk Trail. We parked our Compass by the river and got on our bikes to burn off the calories. The best part about this River Walk trail would be the Big Dam Bridge. The bridge placed in the top ten bridge travel sites in the United States. This bridge is the longest pedestrian and bicycle only bridge built for that purpose only in North America. Pretty cool, eh?! (We are getting ready for Canada!)
After a good, long bike ride and when our legs told us it was time to stop, we hung up the bikes and went to explore the city of Memphis, Tennessee. If there was one thing you could do in downtown Memphis it would be Beale Street. It's a street filled with life. The music comes from every storefront, neon lights glow during the day and night plus it's not a new hit wonder, the blues and rock n' roll you hear on that street has been flowing through the alleys since the very beginning. You can feel the soul of music running through you when you walk along the street.
We did Memphis for the afternoon and made our way towards Nashville for the night. Blues today, Country tomorrow.
